Native Torontonian Robert Loyst travelled internationally during his career as a sales executive. Upon retirement, he missed being busy, so he took a job as an aide to Poppy, an elderly woman in the first stages of Alzheimer's. An avid reader, Robert understood that his unique, unexpected experiences with Poppy were tailor-made for a book. Robert and his wife Stefanie live in Toronto with their cat, Squish.
