Otovowen is a homeopathic oral remedy for the whole family (ages 0+), formulated to relieve symptoms associated with middle ear infections (otitis media) — including ear pain, throbbing, inflammation, and swelling — taken orally rather than applied to the ear itself.

Medicinal Ingredients (per 10 mL):

• Echinacea purpurea MT – 0.75 mL
• Matricaria recutita MT – 0.225 mL
• Sambucus nigra MT – 0.225 mL
• Sanguinaria canadensis MT – 0.075 mL
• Capsicum annuum 4X – 0.075 mL
• Hydrastis canadensis 4X – 0.075 mL
• Iodum 4X – 0.075 mL
• Natrium tetraboracicum 4X – 0.075 mL
• Aconitum napellus 6X – 0.075 mL
• Hydrargyrum bicyanatum 6X – 0.075 mL

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Alcohol, purified water

Dosage:

• Adults/adolescents (12+): 12–15 drops
• Children (6–11 years): 5–10 drops
• Children (1–5 years): 4–7 drops
• Infants (0–11 months): 2–4 drops
• General use: 1–3 times daily; acute symptoms: every 15–60 minutes (up to 12x/day) until improvement, then resume general dosing

Duration: Continue until symptoms subside; do not use for more than 8 weeks.

Cautions

Ask a healthcare practitioner before use in children under 2, or if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if hypersensitive to any ingredient or to plants in the daisy family, or with certain autoimmune/chronic conditions. Stop use and consult a practitioner if fever, severe pain, or ear discharge occurs, or if symptoms worsen or persist beyond 2 days.
