Medicinal Ingredient (1 tablet contains):
Dry extract (5–7:1) of Passiflora incarnata L. (Passionflower) 425 mg, equivalent to 2.125- 2.975 g Passionflower aerial parts.
Non-medicinal Ingredients:
Maltodextrin, silica, cellulose powder, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, talcum, sucrose, calcium carbonate E170, Acacia gum, tragacanth, glucose syrup (dry substance), hypromellose, beeswax white, carnauba wax, shellac, colorants: ferric (III) hydroxide/oxide E172.
Adults, adolescents ≥ 13 years: 1 tablet, 2 times daily.
Pascoflair® should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of water), and the doses should be spread evenly throughout the day.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated for patients who are hypersensitive to the active substance or to any of the excipients, patients with a rare hereditary condition known as fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.
Cautions:
- Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen
- Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia)
- Consumption with alcohol, other medications, or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended
Side effects:
Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle, or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.
